I finally saw Monster's Ball

It was on HBO. I couldn't pass it up. I've been interested in seeing it since it came out.

And now, random comments about the movie in no particular order.

This movie is not a barrel of excitement. However, if you are interested in seeing some solid dramatic performances, this is one that should be checked out. It's good. All the actors are good. Including P Diddy. He delivered a very solid performance in my opinion.

I find the relationship that develops between Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton's characters to be utterly beautiful in some way.

At the beginning I found myself agreeing with the fact that Halle Berry is too damn beautiful to be believable in her role. As the movie went on, I found myself forgetting this.

I missed the line where a Monster's Ball is defined. I think I may have missed something important in missing this. I may have figured it out without the line though.

Anyway, good movie, certainly worth watching.
